If you said never Cross, then you can't named it as Crossback.
It depends: Generally:-
1) Age of the aro, some do late and it takes for some times. Some fast about a year to a year half. Intensity easily reach to 6th level.
2) See the pearlies. Best is the aro should have full pearlies :)

Thx Bro Azrul for commenting on this.
But what if is around 2 to 3yrs old fish, got high shine n pearlies but nv cross ?
So can we say tat as long as 6th level nv cross within few yrs, its not a crossback ?
Wonder if we can get a full refund from the farm zzzz.

1 more thing is when we bought in from young, theres no crossing. When we find out it nv cross when adult it might be too late i guess.

to define crossback is very subjective. Some people look for full cross to call as crossback. Some people as long as the rims developed on the 6th level from each side than can consider crossback.

Stil been seeing some of the guys post their adult Aros as crossback but no 6th lvl crossing. The only way i see it is maybe diff ppl hv diff point of view i guess. Thx Bro Kelisa for the input, I got wat u mean.

Just Upload your golden bro, then we could say more about it.

My personal opinion about it: golden that only have pearlies, a bit level 6 and not cross, called it MG. Golden with pearlies and half cross or full..called it crossback/xb.

If u want a hi-quality mg try xb goldenhead type, its my favorite :D

I myself have seem many xb that don't cross though are tag XB.
Personally to me, a XB must cross on lvl 6 or at least half of lvl 6 to be worthy call a XB :)
