saying hello from hawaii. as of now i don't have any aros....looking how to get a asian. any color. used to have silvers, blacks, jardinis, lechardtis, still got my125, 100, 55 gal tanks.need to upgrade filtration,lighting so any advise really apreciated.

it is illegal here in hawaii. but i think there are suppliers here. back when i had in the 1980's could go to chinatown district. had gold, red, green asians. nothing like the colors today. all wild caught. most had eggsacs and pricey $300-$600. i had a gold that looked brown. had for 3.5 yrs from 6mm to 45mm. fed mostly feeders. hawaii sucks for hobbists now. no more exotic fishes like before. only get cichlids. no more exotics like before. not legally anyways.
