Transfering stingray

Hey ray masters,

I have a motoro which is about 8' in diameter. He has grown quite fast since I bought him. Now I want to move him to a bigger tank but cant figure out how to catch and transfer. Is it ok to use a net? Will it attack or jump if I use a net? I really don't want to get stung as I hear it is a very painful experience.

Any help appreciated.
