Do your all use anti-chlorine after water change or just leave it without anti-chlorine.....???:thinking2:

After WC i normally put the anti-chlorine for contigency purpose.......:teeth_smile:

i'll put antichlorine after water change but any bros her can recommend a good brand?

I always used GENSIS .....but sometime nvr put depend on the amount of water change. My incoming tap water is equipped with those filter which claim to be able to remove chlorine (but don knw whether true?)...

sometimes I used that too, is also a conditioner, some come with aloe vora....

stresscoat is good..but nwadays the liquid is not as thick as last time..:angry_smile:

I use stress coat by AP. but will try seachem brand soon. :)
i do add after water change.

when changing water, keep to formula of no more than 20%, then new water add on should be fine

I think if u don change large amount of water, everytime just 10%, is not necessary to add in AC...

Chlorine is not stable and thus easily removed by aeration. Chloramine is the problem. It is very stable and using AC will not effectively remove it too!

Better choose one with anti-chloramine and not anti-chlorine only.

i use stresscoat which contain aloe vera and when you open the bottle and smell, the smell very nice and fresh:thumbs_up:
i use it whenever i change water or got newcomer in the tank

I second Nutrafin Anti Chlorine with Conditioner.... I would favor Hagen Products being reasonablly price and effective. Previously were using Genesis I realized it wasn't that effective and market flooded with imitation product forced me to switched. Alternatively Tetra also produce and market excellent Anti-Chroline except it is over priced here.

way backed then abt 15 years ago...i still remember...seldom use anti-chlorine as our water are not much 'troublesome' ......now i used tetra aquasafe,nutrafin n stress coat.....but mainly stress coat(2 litres) can last me for quite sometime.....

I wonder hoe much is the 2L Stress Coat sold in Singapore? How not seen jumbo size Stress Coat in Kuala Lumpur so far.

the price for the stress-coat varies from LFS to LFS in singapore......
estimate abt $24-$16 for a 2 litres version....i got mine from the 'famous' LFS which is located at clementi aka c328:003:
