My Pearl Aro is dead

It died today in the afternoon.I've been keeping it about 4 months which his length is about 4". As usual,i do a weekly WC but there is one time i didn;t change for a week and i do a WC after 2 weeks because the water looks not so clear. So i change it last 2 days with aged water that i aged it for 1 days. After one day i made a WC, my aro look like gasping for oxygen which not usual for me and he doesn't want to eat his food. And his tails were look like bitten and his body not darker as his normal colour. So,it died at his length nearly 7"

I don't know what has happen and i assumed because of the aged water. But i don't know what it has happen :016:

Fyi,my aquarium consist of 2 air stones and eheim external filter.Also 1 silver dollar and 1 sucker fish. what it does actually happen to it. *sigh* But i will not give up and i might to try keep Pearl arowana again.

the last time i remember,the water in the tank was too cloudy.so i change it about 50%

Sorry to hear that.. If u need advice on arowana, visit diz shop at kg bunut simpang 600. D owner is a pro who is very helpful. D shop will onli b opened in d aftrnoon 2pm+

My deepest condolences to you bro.
But i believe aged water is a thing of the past since they've already introduced chloramine to our tap water
So, it may be best just to add those water conditioners into the tank and just do a direct WC.
But please not more than 30% at a go.

and take this as experience also, if i not wrong aro need at least WC one week once,

compare to LOHAN and discus is very good and easy lioa.

do u used anti clorin, likly because of clorin the fis die, or likely high in ammonia in water.

use an aquarium with bio reactor u need not to change water and make life easy.
