Most ppl can only differentiate it when its fully matured. For a male aro, the bottom part of the lower jaw is rounder and naturally the colour of the female is much fader than the male. Expert here can pls correct me if i m wrong....:tounge_smile:

they say that in silver aro the lower jaw is more elongated than the female don't know if it's true in asian aro's

..."theorically" for now..its just everyone;s guess... some see head like male...but its a female...some see head like female..but its a male....
at the end of the day..it takes a very experience fella 2 "see" all those...
Use your feeling to see the diffrence between male aro and female aro :coffee: !But...you cannot tell,if the aro is under 3years old.

hmm.. not so sure abou that... in my experience, i found some female also carrying eggs with the male... i don't know about the other but i often see that..
you should wait if two of your aro is pairing, then separate them from the other then put them in aquarium then you can see and learn the difference
