maybe is due to high demand and low supply circumstances, and as for the breeders, when they have pups i think not all are being sold, parts of the pups are keep by themselves for future brooders, and for wild caught there's quota on the export as recently the export ban form brazil is being lifted and furthermore wild caught rays are tend to be more sensitive and the survival rate is very thin compare to the captive breed . thats why the price of of pearl sp and pdr is so high:011::011::011::011:but for me i prefer pearl SP from PDR, more variety and pattern:011::011:see the ARRAIA book borrowed from the chief makes me lau cui nua
