no need as long as u know the pH of ur water source.

Yup not necessary......unless u always do water change and not sure about your water source. Wat u can do is to buy a PH meter and put in the tank, and is monitored for 24 hours......

no need to check evryday. maybe once a week or after do WC. for me check every 2 weeks.
