Feng Shui fish


The many Feng Shui fish types are associated with different symbolistic meanings. Fishes with symbolism include flower horn, carp, and arowana.
Fish and the fish tanks that come with them represent the water element, which is one of the five elements in the five element theory. Therefore, having fish and fish tanks may be the balancing element needed to have the water element present, if needed.

As for the different fishes, the flower horn is associated with prosperity luck and good fortune wealth and fame to love and happiness. It is a crossbreed fish from the Cichlid family and has beautiful and unique coloring, texture, and physique.

Some associate the flower horn as THE fish for period 8. Period 8 refers to the new Qi governing the years 2004 - 2023.


Feng Shui Fish - Carp and Arowana

Carp fish has a symbolistic intepretation of great wealth. When displayed in homes it is believed to attract great wealth and prosperity for the household members. Wealth Carp products are available in all sorts of forms, from key-chains to pen holders.

The arowana are considered by many practioners to be the most potent fish in feng shui. In Chinese, the Arowana is called "Kam Lung Yue", which means Golden Dragon Fish.

This name is linked to great wealth in abundance. When looking for live Arowanas, you'll find them to be very expensive.

but for me, it is not a matter of fengshui. it is a matter of hobby, and seing aro swim gracefully and see other fish eat and chase feeder, is a sight to behold

it was satisfaction to see ur fish grow beautifully...

and some statistic said that it can longer ur life 2 years if u have a hobby hehe
