wow.. very red even not with lamp...what a pity .
But why changing too much water can caused that , if the new water is aged water ? I assume the owner already know that must use aged water for changing aro's water.
Is the owner not use aged water ? As my experience if using aged water , no problem if you change to much .

Oh my.... what a beauty.... what a loss.... ;(

I'm find it quite odd too that the cause is too much water change. Munjul and PT Arwana change 100% water everyday and everything is ok. Maybe the cause is poor / bad / contaminated quality of the replacement water?

First of all my deepest sympathy to the owner.

Guys

From the pics I realy do not think big water change is the cause of the fish death. Consider this owner skill/knowledge that take to raise the fish to this stage, I doubt cause.

I think it might be stress due to water change process while the fish is full of un-mating eggs in the stomach. Lets imagine a prenant woman has to go through all the stress in a rollercoaster..............
