The system of external canister filter

Hello guys !!!

Just want to ask. I just bought a JEBAO Canister filter for my 4ft. The setup had being made but when operation time the water lift from the aquarium to the filter box can't be done ???? I just wondering why the cause happened ????? I had read the instruction carefully..... So what supposed i do to lift up the water from the aquarium to the box ????? Is this kind of filter LASTING LONG and what's mean by fit to 180cm ????. I,m more appreciate if one of you can help me on pictures sequenly on how to work with the external filter.

u can try use power head first to lift the water to the box when all the air come out.. u put on the power and take out the power head.

in your case, i presume that the cannister you bought does not come with self-primming facilities. thus you may have to pump the water to the inlet to kick start the cannister. & yes, usually using a powerhead works pretty well... :tounge_smile:
