7 july still ok, still eat a lot of madagaskar cockroach.
Lat few days 14 july - 16 july 07 one of my beloved aro kena dropsy symptoms..
* the scales turn dark
* fish refuse to eat 2 days.. (funny u know, my fish never refuse foods one)
* few scales seem protruding a bit..
* seem like bacterial infection
i kanchiong, then what i do :
* go to LFS shop, buy some medicine because no stock at house.
* change water immediately 50%
* add sera aqutan to protect the slime of the fish to be not dry. (can use nov aqua also or other brand)
* add oxy tetracycline (anti bacterial)
* add sera backtopur (anti bacterial also)
* add tetra black water
* heater 32-33 C.
after 12 hours the fish condition improving. start to eat a lot again. scales look normal but still look dark..
but still don't know what cause it.. maybe water level too low.. change water in 3 days.. so the ammonia built up... then my fish kena dropsy...
so this is my way to cure the fish. hope this will be useful information for members who encountered this kind of disease.
hope will be recover in few weeks.

Dear mr Hendri,
Thank you very much for your drosy lesson, that is very usefull. How is your Arowana now? How long time after did he fully recover from that diseas?
This is the very first time I have joined to "Indo Dragon" , a newly member of Aro forum.
I started to like Dragonfish recently. My aro also got drosy diseas (I thought so) last week, I did not know why and how he got it (may be from other fish). Since he got the diseas : he looked very tired, no hunger, refused shrimp, just like some cockroaches. I used Fungus cure with low dosy and water change in 4 days, he is fine again, but what I worry is now he still does not eat shrimp?How and what I have to do to, I scared now he only eat cockroach that I can not always supply?
Thank you very much
Best regards
Trung
