When aros have poor appetite try not to feed live fresh water shrimps.
Shrimps can become very aggressive when they become very hungry and will gang up and start to pick and poke at your aro. They actually start to eat your aro, fins, scales.... This will in return stress up your aro making them susceptible to parasite and bacteria attacks. Or possible that the swelling is due to continues poking by shrimps
but I am not sure if this applies to your case. Again I have to stress that I am only guessing. You are the only one who will be able to figure it out.
I suppose the best way to help your aro right now is to remove all the shrimps. Do a 30% water change and add in more salt put in a heater set at 30C. Put the yellow powder on hold for 2 more days. If the swelling does not go away. do a 10% WC and apply the yellow powder according to instructions.
Good luck.

Most likely is the condition of the water, just change the water and maintain the water condition. remove all food which is not eaten, especially live food......

When I have my 4 pcs comm and 2 SD in a 4 footer , it always have lump on tails cos the bio load can't take it and the aros eat alot and water condition become deterior. After I decomm and keep only one aro, all back to normal. just for sharing...:upset:
