How to boost my arowana apetite coz previous day my aro not eating but this afternoon its take about 5 SW after that its dont want anymore....... Please help me to bring back my aro apetite and what i'm gonna to do ?????:what: ;(

Give ur Aro some time 'Relax' ! My Aro also got this problem Before i sell it away..., maybe u can try Cricket , Market Prawn , Bull Frog or Pellets(if ur aro want to eat Pellets)

bro have a wc of 30%, then starve it for few days. give like bf or mp.
if still don't have appetite, maybe can add in some tankmate..............
BTW how big is ur arowana?
i heard before when ur arowana gets bigger the appetite gets lesser.............

Most of the time, aro doesn't eat is due to water parameters. I will measure the water parameter. If it is alright and other tankmates are eating like mad, I will just leave it because there are other situation that the aro will not eat like:
- introduction of new tankmates;
- stress due to extra environment like noise, lighting, extra movement outside the tank etc;
- clean up the filteration;
- water parameters (main problem).

Like you I was worried last time. But after a while you get use to it. Like what our other bros said, check water and change if necessary. My experience is after a few days or even weeks, it will start eating again. Not I am not too bothered by this.

Anyway, does you fish look sick? If yes, then it is different.

You can't do anything if the water parameters are good. Just monitor and make sure the aro is healthy. After a while in this hobby, you will get use to it. Aro will sometimes stop eating or eating less for a few days.

If you are always worry that the aro will not eat, you can try aro comm. Aro in aro comm will always hungry for food.

My oso don eat for quite a while laio after de-comm, sometimes it eat a few Sw, after that stopping eating again, but still look ok...Maybe feel lost after all friends are gone...
