Usually cloudy eye is caused by poor water quality, bacterial infection and physical injury with poor water quality being the most frequent cause. You can actually see a white thin film on the surface of one eye, or in a less frequent situation where this thin film appears on both eyes.
Since the fish has recovered, no medication is needed. However, just be sure to have good water. You should just go ahead and perform another 30-50% water change. The problem should go away in about 1 week.
Good luck bro . :hand:

just chuck in a hand full of salt. and use a heater. set it to 30C.
if there is no inprovement within the next week try using medications like japanese powered + salt + heater.
do not feed your fish for the moment and change 10% of water every 2 days.
change your filter wool.
what is your water pH by the way? :022:
best of luck.
That has happened to my arowana b4 and i asked the aquarium shop owner. He told me that the tap water we used has high chroline and chromine that causes the cloudy eyes. He advised me to purchase the medicine for the cloudy eyes and i use it. The eyes recovered within 5 days. Change 20% water, add salt and anti-chroline when you do tne next change.
you change water change how frequence?
every week?
if u take care of the water then it will take care of ur arowana.........

not a good idea on the japanese power [yellow powder] I had tried that, my SR when from low cloudly eye to major CE :031: :argh: . advice as from Bro Hendri is the best 0.3%, salt 3-4days WC at 30% and heater temperature at 32'C for at least 2-4 weeks, patience is virtue. hope that helps:hand:

Curing CE need time and patient, so as members said, maintain good water and will be fine.

make sure that you change water every 3 days at 30 - 40% and filter change every 3 days also, it is normal for the eye to pop alittle, if its doesn't cure in 3~4 weeks used melafix.

Cloudy eye is a warning sign of bad things to come for your fish and headaches for you if the tank’s water quality is not quickly reversed! :011: It’s pointing a finger directly at the owner's fault. Most likely, your tank's water has a problem, and your filtration system is not working properly. There a few causes for cloudy eye, but the most likely culprit is the water quality. It is deteriorating. So change the water as many bros had already suggested, and keep a tight regimen on the WC, your fish will be fine. Good luck bro.

Cloudy eyes can be easily cure by using potassium permanganate, purplish in colour crystal. First has a water change but don't forget your anti-chlorine. Add enough pp into the water until it dark purplish colour. Must have strong air pump on. Leave it for 2days, then do a water change, your aro will recover.
