i saw a couple of peeps upped me and i'd like to thank them for it. now ive tried to up some too but i dont know how!! And what does the upping do exactly?

when some one post a meassage there will be information about ur join dates loacation etc u see a world permalink rite next to it one object, when u move ur cusor there a box of word will come out eg" add to xxx reputation" then click it on the person u wan to add reputation to.
