barbel curling

Hi everybody,i need your help,my RTG seems to be very okay,but its barbel is not.The barbel curls a lot and rough at the side and seems to be very soft,what's the problem and how can i cure it? please advice,thank you:hand:

but try switch off all the lamp at night... so the barbels working hard to detect movement hence can turn longer

a picture would help to diagnose your arowana problem...

from your description alone, very hard to tell...

are you referring to "pimple-like" growth on its barbles when you said rough on the side? curling & growing of pimples on the barbels is an indicator of bad water... you need to do water change...

if you are just talking about your arowana barbels being short, you can just leave the lights off for a period of time... & the barbels will grow back straight soon... :wekk:

Cut it off and will grow in a mth time.

Normally due to bad water. Make sure that the water parameters are good.
