Just invited by Mr. Tris Tanoto to see and shot the first F5 fries in the world !

Bred on 3 April 2007 !

the F5 eggs only 0.5-0.6 CM in diameter. only 11 pcs of F5 fries.

the big one is F4 , egg size 2 CM.

According to Mr. Tris Tanoto the more purer the super red, the fewer fries being produced.

Enjoy the pictures ! triple thumbs up !

I think F1-F4 means generation of the fish eg F1 is the offsprings of the wild caught aro, then continues on till now we have F5 which means great great great great grand children of the wild caught aro.

Very cute baby.... :want:

Read from Munjul website that the minimum order is 50 pcs. So let say Mr. Solar want to buy 50 pcs of Munjul's aro for his collection, Mr. Tanoto won't sell because Mr. Solar located in Indonesia? :what:

I'm not really surebut i think local can buy leh. Its just local tend to say that the price is 3-4 times more than the one sold in LFS so in other words local "can't afford/cannot buy" whereas foreigner "can afford/can buy". Correct me if i'm wrong

I haven't got any chance to see directly the Munjul's aro, can only see it in the photo (INDO DRAGON  :D). Chief, you've seen tons of aros lah, so do you think Munjul's quality is really that good compare to other aros from Indo, so it worth the premium? :what:

the answer is : yes.. munjul red has its premium quality like thick frames, big tail, nice red color, no PLJ ... and almost all his aros for sell ones had this high standard...

Mr. Tris Tanoto , the Owner of PT MunjulPrima Utama pay attention to this thread..

so he called me to give some explanation about the reasons why he don't want sell locally and why the price expensive...

1. Long ago, Mr. Tris Tanoto is the Chief of Association of Arowana Company in Indonesia. That time only 5 farms had cites registration including PT Munjul and around 50 arowana farms without cites. so Mr. Tris Tanoto create a business rule that the Cites Registered farm only do the export business and the non cites farm doing local business. so he commit to the rules until now.

2. PT Munjul don't want take risk sell local because the price is high and small quantity so if the customers got problem with the aro.. then call PT Munjul everyday.. got headache too.. cannot rest..

3. PT Munjul sell quality red only.. and because the newer generation got fewer fries.. like this time only got 11 F5 fries.. but the quality is there. so if sell cheap then long ago PT Munjul had closed already. Beside until now still cannot fullfil the demand.. because quantity not as many as West Borneo farm. The fries quantity in west borneo 8x from Munjul Production. Like they can get 80 fries, munjul only get 10 fries..

4. Location of the farm is in Jakarta / Cibubur outside the habitat. so more harder to do the breeding and cost quite high like electricity, labour and land price..

so there is some reason that Indo Dragon Members need to know..

Hope the answer satisfied all the members ... cheerssss :D
