this morning i observed my rtg has some sort of mucus surrounding its head up until its gill area. u guys ever experienced such a thing? maybe stress related? i just added some salt and put in my heater guess thats the most usual solution. its appetite also not so good. previously i clean the water tank almost 40percent but i usually do that one time a week and no problem. but then i cleaned it again on the same week because i noticed the water was still dirty. i guess that caused the mucus? since the water temperature changed the aro was probably in shock. :016:

Check water parameters. How about other part of the body?

Take a closer look, sometimes is merely fungi infection due to dirty water. Just put some methylene blue and change some more water if confirm is the case.

Best post pic here, so the seniors can advise you better :003:

it would be good if you could put more variety. Nutrition wise, the SW will not give it the full nutritional requirements of the fish..... specially stuff like vitamin D, Thiamin etc. That will also help in the color development
