He hit the driftwood when he heard a LOUD noise from outside my house...
I put the temp to 84f (28.8c) normally 82f (27.7c)
and add some salt... (1 tablespoon per 10 gallons)
how high should I make the temp?
how much salt to use?

You aro should be fine . The setting for your temp and amount of salts added are just about right . Just beware that it will take 3-4 months at least for the new scale to look just as good as the old one . Sometimes, even the new one does not look anywhere near the old scale in term of coloration .

Agree with Bro Aphansl keep waters clean.
nothing to worry about. But please try and and find out why it jumped
water temp should be between 27 - 29 C. Personally I prefer 27, but please try and figure out which temp best suits your aro.
tips.
aros eat lesser when temp too high or too low. A good indicator if the water temp is just right is a heatlhy apetide.
Good luck
