How long does it take for torn tail to recover?

Depends on how bad it is.

If, WC done and salt added. Usually within a weeks time. minor tear may take just 1 night to recover.

Agree with bros saying .... may be 1 to 3week it will recovered le with changing of water and adding of salt...

*** Important point, dont change too much water as it will wostern the injuries.... 20% water change will do with added anti chlorine .... :)
