Does this happened after feeding. Observe the gill portion especially the gill part soft membrane, does it shows like sucking in while open and closing of the mouth. If it is, then likely the water is dirty. Do a water change will help.

May be just after meal this may happen, or the aro eat too full also will happen.

Open and closing of mouth is usually an indication that the aro is having a hard time to breath. Water may be contaminated or low in oxygen. Or gills are being covered or blocked by mucus or something. Check water and gills (if possible) asap.
