I believe lots of bros encounter this problem, just want to share all your experience and my how to solve the problem. Especially those foreign bros, how do you solve the problem beside installing a surface skimmer......or DIY...:lightbulb: :lightbulb:

I am using a 4th ft OHF and wat I do just to install a additional piping link to the main suction pipe with a overflow cup and solve the probem. ...I will show all the design later when I find the pic.

This method is onli applicabel to OHF with the pump is at the surface...if u are using the submersible pump, then the method cannot be used.....just to share..:lightbulb:

i think with submersible pump and simple modification of the piping to skimmer it is possible, may b bro EH can share some pics of his setup

actually can solve the problem, by using under and overflow system to sump tank , so all the ammonia and oil will flow down to sump and leaving nothing behind i still belive in sump to solve the problem .
