Brother no worries......I have been go through several time special kids bang on the tanks..........personal opinion .. better get to remove it .....if....you are in better knowleageor request some friends whom may help. any how it will grow as usual size depend how big is your Arowana.....big fish grow very slow.....for those young aros....they recovery will fast......good luck.
